Any ideas for an "Old Hollywood" or "Old Movies" inspired bridal shower?

I don't particularly like "themed" parties, so I don't want anything too cheesy. The bride loves old movies (Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, Judy Garland, etc...), so I thought I'd use this idea for her shower. Like I said, nothing too cheesy (like dressing up like old movie stars, or decorating with big gold "Walk of Fame" stars). Any help and ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!
