How Can You Tell If He's a Player?

So last night I was at work(I'm only in high school by the way) and this guy my age starts talking to me and flirting. I work at a banquet hall as a server and the event was a school dance that he was at. I was working the soda bar which basically means I just make sure the pitchers of soda are filled at all times. So I was standing there and was bored so he was talking to me and flirting and I was flirting back. Then at the end of the night he asked me for my number which I gave him. He texted me later and asked me if I wanted to do something sometime. Then, he added me on facebook and I know that facebook is dumb etc but I looked at his, just to see what he was like. I noticed that he was commenting on a lot of girl's pictures and statues and was flirting with them, all in the last 8 hours after he had talked to me. So here's the question, do I continue to talk with him and ignore stupid technology or do I just forget about it and ume he's a player? He's been texting me but he'll just randomly stop answering in the middle of a conversation so I don't know what to do!
