Whats happening to IGN?

You're somewhat right, IGN is going a little snotty with its reviews but thats because their bar was raised to skyscr heights when they reviewed GTA IV. They gave GTA IV a 10 out of 10 for all of its amazingness and ever since then no game has been able to compare. They're still waiting for a game to blow GTA IV out of the water, but that probably won't come until the next GTA. I disagree however, with the titles you listed, IGN did a just job of giving these games bad reviews because they were all terrible. The last decent Spiderman game was Spiderman 2. Haze was supposed to be the Halo killer that never succeeded. If Lair was to be given another review, then every game with a patch should be given another review. About Beowulf, well, everyone knows that videogames made after books or movies are usually terrible.
